After burning out several hand mixers with daily use at our Bed & Breakfast, we decided to try the Viking, based on other reviews. We were not disappointed.

It seems very well made, and sturdy, and the retractable power cord is a real blessing!

As others have noted, the slow speed is genuinely slow(!) and it is powerful enough for most any task you can do with a hand mixer.

Well built product. I particularly like the set of flat sided beaters which can be difficult to find. Some have written that the beater is heavy. I found it comfortable to use.

I got this 2 years ago. It work well as described. I'm Asian 120 lbs, it's kindda heavy for me to use it in 5 mins long. I like the idear of rolling back the cord, but I don't like I have to roll it. It's better if it can roll back by itself.
